The Ugandan side of the RDF is steered by the Rwenzori Development Foundation (U) LTD Board of Directors and all projects are managed by our Manager of Finance and Administration and the Communications and Project Development Officer. In addition, the success of the Foundation has always relied upon our strong network of knowledgable and dedicated partners in Uganda.
The Staff
Gorretti Baagaya - Advisory Board Member & Treasurer
Gorretti was the Finance Manager of RDF (Uganda). She was responsible for overseeing all the projects funded by the RDF (UK). In addition, she carried out specific evaluation and research to help the Trustees identify new projects and areas suitable for funding.
She is now on our Advisory Board and is our Ugandan Treasurer.
Board of Directors
RDF (U) assists us in allocating funds to projects in Uganda. The Board is chaired by John Tinka who doubles as an environmental consultant (see below). It is advised by a well respected group and accomplished members of the Kabarole community.

Chris Busiinge is currently the head of the Information Unit at Kabarole Research and Resource Centre (KRC). He is a practicing community development professional specialising in; development communication and conflict resolution.
