ABOUT OUR TRUSTEES
The RDF has seen a number of trustees over the years, all of them bringing with them unique experience and enthusiasm that has helped to shape and grow the charity. Our present trustees are:

o

o

Kate Aubrey-Johnson
RDF Chair of Trustees,
I was lucky enough to live and work in Uganda for a year and was surrounded by the most wonderful, friendly and enthusiatic people who've inspired me to encourage people in the UK to give a little bit of their time and money to improve the lives of those living in Uganda. I'm criminal defence barrister and live in London with my husband and baby boy, Jonah.

o

o

Esther Bertram
Conservation Programme Co-ordinator
I live in Cambridge and work for Fauna & Flora International, a conservation NGO. During my holidays I lecture on tourist ships in the Antarctic. It has given me great pleasure to be involved in the Rwenzori Development Foundation and Uganda for the last 12 years. I look forward to the charity growing and developing within Uganda, with more local involvement and co ordination.

o

o

Dylan Mathews
Treasurer

o

o

Amanda Mullard
Schools Programme Co-ordinator, Staff Co-ordinator
I've been involved with the RDF for the last 14 years. After an initial trip in 1993 I was so taken by the warmth and generosity of the Ugandans, despite the hardships they face, that I wanted to carry on doing whatever I could to help them.
I am so proud of what we have achieved over the years, we are small and things take time but thanks to the devotion and strength of this frankly, quite remarkable group of friends we have managed to make a difference to some Ugandans. I live in London and am the Manager of a restaurant and bar in the City.

o

o

Lotte Ramsay
Secretary, Communications Co-ordinator
I've been involved with the RDF since 2000, first as a volunteer and now as a trustee. It's great to be a part of such an effective and enthusiastic team of people, working together both here and in Uganda to really make a difference in local communities. I'm a Research Academic, working in the field of sustainable energy and power-system economics and regulation; I live with my husband in London.

o

o

Richard Rode
Fundraising Co-ordinator
I work as a landscape gardener and was previously a teacher. I'm 59, married with 2 children and was inspired by the work of the Ugandan Volunteers in the Rwenzoris.
